RetireSmart is part of a series of initiatives by Ġemma to improve the financial literacy of the Maltese public. It’s an educational retirement planning tool that allows people to calculate a rough idea of their retirement horizon while concurrently learning. The experience is accessible in two ways; via a smartphone app or the web.
Its role is to help users realise that their state pension might not meet their retirement needs and act as a gateway to Maltese institutions that provide private pensions.
