Up to year 2019, applicable to those who are aged between 62 and 74 and who do not have enough Social Security Contributions to qualify for a Contributory Pension.
Deficiency Contributory Bonus, also known as DCB, was a budget year 2015 measure which came into effect on 1st January 2015.
Those who have paid between one year of Social Security Contributions (50) and less than 5 years of Social Security Contributions (259) received the below bonus every year and,

Those who have paid more than 5 years of Social Security Contributions (260) but not enough to qualify for the contributory pension, received the below bonus every year and, as per budget 2020, will continue to do so. As you can see, the non-pensioners are divided into two groups.
- Those who have paid between 50 and 259 Social Security Contributions and
- Those who have paid more than 260 Social Security Contributions but still ineligible for a pension.
Payment of the Deficiency Contributory Bonus, DCB, is made automatically.
Those who do not receive this bonus automatically are required to apply by filling an application. Applications can be downloaded by clicking on the below links.
