Persons who earn income from trade, business, profession, vocation and persons who receive income from rents, investments, capital gains or any other passive income do not have an income package that consists of allowances, overtime, performance bonuses and statutory bonuses.
However, pensioners who choose to remain in self-employed work after claiming a pension receive the statutory bonuses from the Department of Social Security, in full, twice a year, in June and December amounting to €135.10 each time and an additional bonus of €3.12 weekly with their pension rate.
