No.  Avoid a usury like the plague.  Usury involves lending money at very high and unreasonable interest rates.  You risk the danger that your loan snowballs if you fail to pay on time.  Usuries can place significant pressure on you to make sure that you pay.  If you are in this position – go to somebody you can trust:  a member of your family or the parish priest.  Approach a NGO such as Caritas to see how they can help you out.  ĠEMMA cannot emphasise enough the importance that you do not borrow from an usury.
