ĠEMMA and HSBC Malta Foundation have once again collaborated together on SkolaSajf 2023. This year’s edition of Skolasjf is “Peace by Piece”, which encourages people to do their part, no matter how small, as everyone’s contribution will impact our overall wellbeing.
Our focus is on teaching the children to become more aware of the importance of Social Responsible Investing (SRI). Investing by understanding more about the products we purchase daily and how they, as large companies, show their responsibility towards our Environment, Society, and Governance (ESG’s). By encouraging awareness and individual responsibility ĠEMMA and HSBC Malta Foundation are contributing towards a more financially capable community and helping to improve their social and environmental landscape. The children are being given hands-on learning by doing experience, which includes discussions, presentations, and video clips.
A poster competition is also being run for all the children participating in the SkolaSajf financially capable program, where the participants have to design a poster showcasing how their fictitious company and list four key socially responsible initiatives they would apply. The winners will be informed during the first week of September.
