We are pleased to announce that ĠEMMA as from this month forms part of the Sagħtar e-magazine. ĠEMMA will definitely be present on Sagħtar till the end of the year. In its monthly slots, ĠEMMA will introduce money management concepts to children. ĠEMMA will do this by discussing a particular concept and then setting an exercise for the application of that concept.
In the February issue we discuss budgeting, planning and needs and wants. The exercise is that of planning a holiday within a set budget of €2,000. A ĠEMMA Travel Budget calculater can be downloaded by pressing the appropriate link on the article.
We encourage parents to sit down with child/ren and work out with them the holiday planning exercise by using the ĠEMMA Travel Budget calculator. We also invite teachers to use our article, exercise and ĠEMMA Travel budget calculator during class.
