The Poster Competition Award Ceremony took place on the 22nd September at Esplora Interactive Science Centre in Kalkara. Minister for the Family, Children’s Rights and Social Solidarity Michael Falzon praised this initiative and the collaboration of partnerships between ĠEMMA, HSBC Malta Foundation and the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes. He also stressed the importance of educating children on how to save as well as encouraging the promotion of financial capability on a national level.
The prizes consisted of 1st Prize €200 worth of books, 2nd and 3rd Prize of €150, €100 each book voucher were presented by Mr David Spiteri Gingell, ĠEMMA leader and Hon Michael Falzon.
Since the competition attracted so many participants their designs will continue to be exhibited at the Esplora until the 11th October 2020. The exhibits can also be viewed on https://gemma.gov.mt/poster-competition-showcase/
